Allocations
Corurgan Profile
ALLOCATION INCREASE TO 15%
Following an increase in allocation by the NSW Office of Water by 1%, the Corurgan Internal Allocation has been increased to 16% or 32 Megalitres per Water Right. The next allocation assessment is due on the 15th March 2010.

CHANNEL FILLCEASED
Channel filling ceased on the 8th March , we will only resume pumping according to the irrigation orders received, therefore we are unable to predict if we will continue pumping into April or not. Water will not be supplied through wheels at a rate less than 2 revs per minute.
BLUE GREEN ALGAE ALERT
There is currently a RED ALERT WARNING in place for the Murray River from Hume Dam to Barham. A “Red Alert Warning” means that water may pose a threat to livestock and that the water is unsuitable for drinking, recreational use and skin contact should be avoided. Landholders should assume that Corurgan Channels will be affected by the Algal bloom. A useful link in relation to Blue-green algae is www.water.nsw.gov.au/Water-Management/Water-quality/Algal-information/default.aspx
CARRYOVER
If you do not use or trade your 09/10 water allocation, whatever water you have left will be automatically carried over in full to the 2010/11 irrigation season, subject to any restrictions that may be put in place by NSW Office of Water (NOW) at any time.
