BOARD OF MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE POSITIONS
At the November Board Meeting , Mr. Russell Kerr was elected as Board Chairman and Mr. Graeme Parr was elected as Deputy Chairman.

ALLOCATION UPDATE AND STOCK/DOMESTIC PULSE

System filling for stock/domestic supplies ceased on the 21st November . Members will be advised if further filling is possible.

STAFFING
As the result of an ongoing rationalization process that commenced some months ago, the work position of Assistant Manager, carried out by Graham Bice and the maintenance position relating to Larry Kerr were declared to be redundant from the 3rd October 2008. Total permanent staff numbers have now been reduced to 5 , compared with 9 permanent staff in 2005/06 ( a 44% reduction in just a little over three years).
In view of the fact that the office is now only manned by one person, there will be extended periods when there will be no service available. If you wish to discuss matters with the Manager in person it is probably wise to arrange a meeting time to avoid finding an empty office when you call in. Similarly with excavator hire, with currently only one qualified operator there may be delays in hiring, depending on what maintenance work is currently in progress.
